System Status

The System Status page displays as the home page for Reveille User Analytics.

The System Status page displays the following information at the top of the page:

  • Refresh Rate. Select the interval for refreshing the screen. Supported values range from 5 seconds to 60 seconds, in increments of 5 seconds.

The page may be divided into two sections, depending on system setup: HTTP Service and TCP Service (if licensed). For each service, the general status is shown.

HTTP Service

Definitions of the HTTP Service metrics follow:

  • Server Status. Displays the current status of the HTTP server ( Running/ Not Running).
  • Stop/Start Server. Click to stop or start the server. Before stopping the server, you must confirm with an additional dialog.
  • Application Status. Click this link to display the Application Status page.
  • Packets. Displays the number of captured user packets for the current hour and today. It also includes a 7 day trend sparkline, which shows the totals of the last 7 days (not including the current day), and the high, low, and average for the last 7 days.
  • Transactions. Displays the number of observed user transactions for thecurrent hour and today. It also includes a 7 day trend sparkline, which shows the totals of the last 7 days (not including the current day), and the high, low, and average for the last 7 days.
  • Users. Displays the number of users for the current hour and today. It also includes a 7 day trend sparkline, which shows the totals of the last 7 days (not including the current day), and the high, low, and average for the last 7 days.
  • Peak Sessions. Displays the number of peak sessions for the current hour and today. It also includes a 7 day trend sparkline, which shows the totals of the last 7 days (not including the current day), and the high, low, and average for the last 7 days.
  • Collectors. Displays the number of total, active, and inactive collectors. A bar graph also displays showing the percentages of active and inactive collectors.
  • Collector Details. Click this link to display theSystem Dashboard: Collectors page.

TCP Service

Definitions of the TCP Service metrics follow:

  • Server Status. Displays the current status of the TCP server ( Running/ Not Running).
  • Stop/Start Server. Click to stop or start the server. Before stopping the server, you must confirm with an additional dialog.
  • Protocol Status. Click this link to display the Protocol Status page.
  • Protocol Name. Displays the number of captured user packets or messages for the protocol for the current hour and today. It also includes a 7 day trend sparkline, which shows the totals of the last 7 days (not including the current day), and the high, low, and average for the last 7 days.
  • Collectors. Displays the number of total, active, and inactive collectors. A bar graph also displays showing the percentages of active and inactive collectors.
